Jenny Kerr Schroen leads marketing for Delmarva Veteran Builders (DVB) in Salisbury Maryland, where she recently co-authored the children’s dystopian tale, Grit Leads to Greatness.
Jenny’s story is just as fascinating as the one she co-authored, and that’s where we start on today’s episode. She grew up the middle child of three sisters in a creative, close-knit family in Northern Kentucky near Cincinnati, Ohio. After college, she explored the world while practicing graphic design and travel blogging with her sisters. More than a decade later, she reconnected with and married a widowed college friend with four young children. That marriage and move to Salisbury brought her to Chris Eccleston, who hired her as the Creative Developer for DVB.
Chris Eccleston is the President and founder of Delmarva Veteran Builders located in Salisbury, Maryland. He has been in the construction industry since 2007, managing more than 150 million dollars in commercial construction projects and landing on the Inc. 500. His reputation for hiring veterans earned his company the Secretary of Defense Freedom Award.
