Brand for Good

Episode 76: Waste Warrior with Lindsey McCoy

Lindsey McCoy began her quest to end single-use plastics after spending 10 years working on environmental education in the Bahamas—islands full of single-use plastic. Lindsey is the co-founder and CEO of Plaine Products, which offers premium personal care products in aluminum bottles that can be returned, refilled and reused.

Her company is based in the US and its products are vegan, non-GMO, cruelty-free, biodegradable, color-safe and free of parabens, sulfates and toxins, good for the body and the planet.

But her company is just one component of her war on waste. Lindsey seeks to educate consumers on how they can take small steps to reduce their waste and make better choices for themselves, their families and the planet.
