Prosper for Purpose Donates Time and Advice to Cleveland Nonprofits

CLEVELAND (Nov. 7, 2017) — Prosper for Purpose, a Cleveland-based public relations, branding and fundraising firm, announced it will continue its 12 Months of Giving campaign next year. The program focuses on providing Cleveland-area nonprofit organizations with free services.

Throughout 2018, Prosper for Purpose will select one Northeast Ohio nonprofit organization each month. Each chosen organization will receive three hours of strategic consulting from Prosper for Purpose at no cost, as well as promotion through the firm’s channels and connections.

“Our purpose is to do well by doing good. The 12 Months of Giving Program helps us fulfill that purpose right here in Northeast Ohio,” said Founder and CEO Lorraine Schuchart. “Cleveland is home to many amazing charities and organizations — we want to do what we can to help them thrive.”

In 2016, Prosper earned the prestigious B Corp Certification, verifying the firm meets the highest standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability, and works to use the power of markets to solve social and environmental problems. The firm was the first public relations agency in Greater Cleveland, and the first nonprofit consulting and fundraising agency in Ohio, to become a Certified B Corp. More recently, Prosper for Purpose became a member of 1% for the Planet and pledged to donate one percent of annual sales to support nonprofit organizations focused on the environment.
