At Prosper for Purpose, we're proud to be able to give back to our local communities. Supporting others is ingrained in our DNA and, well, mom was right — "It's better to give than to receive."

That's why we began our 12 Months of Giving campaign in 2016. It allows us to provide 12 Northeast Ohio nonprofits (one per calendar month) with:

  1. Three (3) hours of free strategic consulting on a current challenge
  2. Promotion through Prosper for Purpose's website, social media accounts and various other channels

You can read more below about the nonprofit we're currently helping. If you'd like your organization to be considered for the 2018 program, just complete and submit the form at the bottom of this page.

*Deadline for entries is December 9, 2017. One winning organization will be chosen and announced each month in 2018. Organizations must be certified 501(c)(3) nonprofits within the Northeast Ohio counties of Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina, Summit, Portage, Geauga or Lake to apply. We reserve the right to verify submitted information for accuracy. Previous winners are not eligible. Other restrictions may apply.

The GriefCare Place Logo

We are pleased to call The GriefCare Place our pro bono client for October.

Now in their 20th year, The GriefCare Place has served thousands of grieving adults and children in 66 communities across Northeast Ohio. The organization's mission is to "provide a safe place where grievers gather together, under the guidance of trained facilitators, to educate, encourage and uplift each other throughout the healing journey."

Those grieving the death of a loved one turn to The GriefCare Place to find support, education, understanding, and a caring place to heal in a home-like atmosphere.

The GriefCare Place does not charge any fees for its services — it is funded entirely by fundraising events, donations of goods and money, and memorial gifts. For more information about how you can help, including volunteer opportunities, visit
